Privacy Policy of on-line flower shop

Distance Contract

  1. This contract is concluded between the online store www.LaimesZieds.lv (hereinafter referred to as the Seller) and the Buyer (hereinafter referred to as the Buyer), the person who has placed an order in the online store located at https://www.LaimesZieds.lv (hereinafter referred to as the Flower Store).

  2. The operation of the Flower Store online is ensured and maintained by the Seller.

  3. By placing an order in the Flower Store, the Buyer confirms that they have read the Flower Store Terms of Use and the Distance Contract, available at https://www.LaimesZieds.lv/en/privacy-policy/

  4. The Buyer has the right to receive the goods and services offered by the Seller after making the prepayment for the respective service or goods. The description and price of each respective good and service are indicated in the product catalog next to each item. All prices in the online Flower Store are final (complete) for ordering. All prices are listed in euros (EUR).

  5. The Buyer can make payment for the goods or services by choosing one of the remote payment methods offered in the Flower Store (bank account transfer or using a bank card).

  6. Payment for goods and/or services confirms the fact of ordering the service and the Buyer's irrevocable consent to the Terms.

  7. After payment of the order, the Buyer has concluded a contract with the Seller, which determines mutual obligations and duties.

  8. The Buyer has the right, within 14 (fourteen) days from the date of receiving the goods, to return the goods to the Seller’s store without giving any reason for refusal. The returned goods must not be used or damaged, must be in original packaging, and the packaging and its labeling must not be damaged. The exercise of the right of withdrawal and the return of goods are carried out in accordance with the following legal acts:

    • Consumer Rights Protection Law;

    • Cabinet Regulations No. 207 of May 28, 2002 "Regulations on Distance Contracts."

  9. The right to return goods does not apply to cut flowers, flower bouquets, flower arrangements, and indoor plants. (Cabinet Regulations No. 207, clause 15.3).

  10. The Seller has the right to unilaterally cancel the order and refund the full amount to the Buyer if it is impossible to fulfill the order due to circumstances beyond the Seller’s control (for example, if the ordered goods are not available for more than 30 days or the production season has ended). The Seller reserves the right to refuse to execute the order and return payment without explanation.


Order Payment

In the Flower Store, it is possible to pay for orders in different ways:

  • By bank card

  • By bank-link

  • By bank transfer. After placing the order, a prepayment invoice will be automatically sent to the Buyer’s email address, which can be paid via internet banking or in cash at any bank branch. (Carefully and correctly enter the buyer’s email address to receive the invoice properly).

Important! The order is processed only after 100% payment is received. After that, during business hours, the Seller will inform the Buyer in writing about the order status.


Delivery of Goods

  1. Flower Store couriers deliver flowers to the address on working days and weekends.

  2. The delivery fee in Riga is €5.00! Delivery costs to other locations can be viewed in the "Delivery Prices" section.

  3. Flower delivery is carried out in the following time slots: 8:00 – 14:00; 14:00 – 17:00; 17:00 – 19:00; and 19:00 – 21:00. Delivery times are approximate and may change depending on traffic, weather conditions, and staff workload. On February 14 and March 8, delivery is made from 8:00 to 17:00 and from 17:00 to 21:00.

  4. Important! At the time of ordering, all required information must be entered correctly and precisely!

  5. The Seller will not refund the Buyer if:

    • the recipient refuses to accept the shipment (including verbally);

    • the recipient cannot be found or contacted at the specified address or is outside the city or country;

  6. If the flower recipient is not available at the delivery address, the flowers may be given to relatives, neighbors, or colleagues. If the "anonymous delivery" option is not chosen, the recipient has the right to receive information about the orderer.

  7. The order amount includes one delivery to one Buyer-specified address.

  8. If the order does not contain flowers, an additional service fee of €10 will apply.

  9. Due to seasonality, some products may differ from those shown in the pictures. Flower bouquets are prepared trying to maintain the style and color scheme as much as possible, but if necessary, flowers may be replaced with equivalent ones. Wrapping materials for flowers, bouquets, etc., may vary.

  10. Visible containers in the images are not included in the flower price!

  11. On February 14, March 8, and Mother’s Day, orders should preferably be placed and paid for in advance (preferably one day earlier). On these dates, delivery times are only approximate — during the day or evening.

  12. If an order is not yet paid and the Buyer wants to change the order information or contents, a new order must be placed, and the old one will be automatically canceled.

  13. If an order is already paid and changes need to be made, a request must be sent using the Flower Store’s contact form, by email from which the order confirmation was received, or by the specified phone number.

  14. Any changes must be made no later than 48 hours before delivery.


Privacy Policy

  1. The Seller does not sell, buy, provide, transfer, or disclose account or transaction data or personal payment card user information to anyone, except to acquiring banks, Visa/Mastercard Corporations, or upon request by the relevant state authorities. Sensitive cardholder data is transmitted using a secure TLS connection.

  2. The Seller does not store connection data with payment systems and does not keep card data. The Flower Store Buyer enters payment data directly on the payment system’s website; therefore, this information is not available to the Seller.

  3. All information and personal data (name, surname, phone number, delivery address, buyer’s email, and IP address) submitted by the Buyer related to the Flower Store website usage and services are processed and stored in accordance with the EU regulations on personal data protection.

  4. The purposes for which your personal data may be used include service provision and accounting, identification, service improvement, communication, advertising customization, and research. Order information may be shared with third parties for delivery purposes.

  5. By submitting data, the Buyer agrees that data will be processed and stored for as long as necessary for the purposes stated here and as required by law.

  6. Collected data will only be used for the specified purposes and will not be willingly disclosed to third parties except where legally required or to investigate possible law violations or to protect the Seller’s rights and property.

  7. The Buyer has the right to request information about the use of their personal data at any time and to request deletion of their data.


Return Policy

  1. The Buyer has the right, within 14 days of receiving the goods, to return the goods to the Seller without providing reasons. The returned goods must not be used or damaged, must be in original packaging, and packaging and labeling must not be damaged. The right of withdrawal and returns are governed by:

    • Consumer Rights Protection Law;

    • Cabinet Regulations No. 207 of May 28, 2002 “Regulations on Distance Contracts.”

  2. The right to return does not apply to cut flowers, flower bouquets, flower arrangements, and indoor plants (Cabinet Regulations No. 207, clause 15.3).


Disputes and Claims

  1. All disputes and claims shall be resolved by mutual negotiations, submitting a written complaint/claim within 24 hours from receipt of the order, which will be resolved within 10 business days from the date of receipt. Complaints must be submitted in writing.

  2. If disputes cannot be resolved by negotiations or in writing, they shall be settled in the courts of the Republic of Latvia according to laws and legal acts.


Intellectual Property

The site content is the intellectual property of the Seller; copying, reproduction, and republication without written permission are prohibited.

The Seller reserves the right to make changes to these terms from time to time without prior notice by publishing changes on this site.
